Alex H: A name you need to know in 2022. Originally from Zimbabwe, Alex has lived in South Africa, Australia and the UK and has now landed stateside, making his home in the dance music mecca of Denver. Alex built a worldwide reputation with his signature melodic progressive sound over the last decade, releasing on top labels and building up a following on his Youtube channel in the tens of thousands. He's been on a bit of a tear in 2022, releasing not just on Jaytech's Positronic and his own Masvingo Records, but joining us on Dissident as well, where his recent remix of Noel Sanger's seminal "One More Time" soared to #2 in the Beatport progressive releases (#22 overall), and promptly commenced bothering the upper regions of those charts for weeks! Now, Alex is back with his original Dissident debut, called "Above The Surface." A two track EP consisting of the title track and "Eros," Alex mines the same golden vein that made his "One More Time" remixes so special. This is perfect, open-air, summer vibes, deep progressive, right on time for our first proper season back to life in a few years.
