JBL 2-Way 8" Coaxial Ceiling Loudspeaker (Pair, Black)

The JBL CONTROL 18C/T is a pair of ceiling loudspeakers that bring the company’s full range sound into spaces where floor or wall placement is not an option. Each speaker uses a coaxial design that places an 8 inch polypropylene woofer and a 1 inch liquid cooled soft dome tweeter on the same axis, so lows, mids, and highs reach listeners in a single, coherent wave front across a 90 degree conical field.

With power handling up to 90 watts and a sensitivity rating of 92 dB, the system fills cafés, retail shops, hotel lobbies, or meeting rooms without demanding oversized amplifiers. An internal transformer provides taps for 70 volt and 100 volt distributed lines, and a bypass position supports direct 8 ohm wiring, giving installers flexibility during new builds or retrofits.

The factory mounted steel backcan, dual cable clamps, and included mounting kit simplify ceiling work. A front grille snaps into place, and a paint shield is supplied so the baffle made from black ABS can be color matched to surrounding décor.
