'Soaring with Angels' is the newest CD by Las Vegas pianist, Maria Russell. It creates a majestic and inspiring sound of standard hymns as well as contemporary favorites. Featuring \'How Great Thou Art\', \'On Eagle\'s Wings\', \'Ave Maria\', \'Blessed Assurance\' and \'You Raise Me Up\'. Maria Russell, a professional pianist since the age of eleven, received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as well as a Masters of Computer Science and Webmasters Certification. A pianist in Las Vegas for over 17 years at places such as the Ritz Carlton Lake Las Vegas and the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Maria currently plays at Holy Family Catholic Church and for the NV Opera Theatre. Other achievements include being a freelance graphic artist and Music Director for the City of Las Vegas Melodramas in the Park.
