Instead he sings blues which reflect a unique and personal vision; he makes each song unmistakably his own." Unfamiliar keys, clich'-free lyricism, spontaneity, an individualistic style in invoking his particular blues, all make Robert Pete Williams an idiosyncratic entry into the canon.
