The Foretells, a dynamic East Coast vocal group, are featured here on an ultra-rare single originally released in 1965 on producer Stan Krause's Jersey City based Catamount label. The single pairs "Exodus," the theme song to the hit 1960 movie of the same name with "Return To Me," a song that became a huge hit originally recorded by Dean Martin in 1958 and subsequently covered over the years by a wide array of artists including Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett and Bob Dylan - to name a few. This was the first single release for group on Catamount - their second single, "Somewhere (There's a Place for Us)" b/w Somewhere," applied the same formula, pairing a cover of the classic hit ballad from the 1957 musical West Side Story with a cover of The Tymes' classic 1962 single of the same name. "Exodus" b/w "Return to Me" is presented here newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain.
